Super Bowl Food Safety Tips & Chicken Wings by Martie Duncan

I am not really into big Super Bowl parties and neither is my husband but I do love a good party and watching the funny half-time ads. Whether you are watching the game or not, it’s important to know some key food safety tips for any type of entertaining.

This year, Martie Duncan of MartieKnowsParties.com and Season 8 of Food Network Star is partnering with the USDA, FDA, CDC and the Ad Council’s Food Safe Families campaign to make sure that readers are paying attention to food safety.

Because Super Bowl parties typically includes buffets of finger foods and dishes left out for long periods of time, the Food Safe Families campaign is offering tips on FoodSafety.gov to help you throw a winning Super Bowl Party.

Martie is also sharing some of her favorite Super Bowl recipes as follows and if you are still committed to your chicken wings, despite the price, Martie has some cooking tips for those too.
