Book Review: The Good Life for Less

Amy Allen Clark is the creator of MomAdvice.com and has now released the book The Good Life for Less: Giving Your Family Great Meals, Good Times, and a Happy Home on a Budget. Amy is one of my favorite people in the blogosphere and it’s a honor to help highlight her new book.

• Set a reasonable budget and stick to it
• Save half price or more on nearly everything
• Cook delicious, frugal meals for any size family, and save money by making your own easy salad dressing, barbecue sauce, and homemade mixes
• Manage an organized, clean house without spending valuable time and money

This book is currently retailing in print on Amazon for $10.20 and on Kindle for $9.99:  The Good Life for Less: Giving Your Family Great Meals, Good Times, and a Happy Home on a Budget

I especially enjoy the simple recipes like baked potato soup and then, simple ways to make holidays gifts and decorations personal and memorable.

Over the years, I have tried to find ways to make life simpler but it’s amazing how life gets complicated sooo quickly and once again, you have to be reminded to take time to make life real and rich. My kids are growing up so fast. They are watching me as example of how to build their own families some day.

As my life get busy with working more hours, I find myself taking shortcuts and I need constant reminders to slow down. I am grateful to writers like Amy for taking the time to write books like these that convict me simply by reading the title. Now to find the time to read the whole book!

Read for yourself all the great tips!
