Show Review: Disney on Ice’s Rockin’ Ever After

disney on ice rockin ever after ticketsDisney on Ice pulled out all the stops in their Rockin’ Ever After performance this year. Swirling characters balance large costumes on thin slivers of metal, exciting visual effects light up the arena and classic story lines never disappoint.

Of course, the addition of Brave’s Merida was a huge hit this year. My daughter expressed an interest in her own bow and arrow this Christmas after a year of watching Brave & the Hunger Games. Her dad couldn’t refuse.

It’s one thing to play archery on PlayStation Move with two magic wands and then to actually feel the pull of the bow, balance the arrow against the bow, aim at the target, let go and then go to find missing arrows in the field that didn’t meet their mark.

Oh, my daughter definitely has a greater appreciation for Merida’s galloping wild ride during which she hit several targets from a moving horse (in the animated movie, that is.)

And, then to see it alive on ice was AHHH-Mazing. Of course, seeing multiple princesses from various story lines swirling together in choregraphed unison is always so cool.  See my friend Denise’s wonderful review here who won a family 4 pack of tickets.
