Tail Towns Friends Facebook Game & Figurines

Tail Towns Friends To say I’ve gone a little crazy over the new Tail Towns Friends Facebook Game is understating the obvious. It all started with a little figurine and a secret code. I had to see what it unlocked. The curiosity was killing me. What in the world would I see?

To be honest, I started playing the game and whatever the little figurine unlocked is lost among the daisies because I am so far beyond that now, so far beyond hope of ever again saying that I don’t play Facebook games . . . .  . . . which was true until about a week ago when a little box arrived and this little Florist came out to play.

(Actually, you can see in your Figurine Collection in the game which ones you bought as long as you register the code instead of just letting it sit on your shelf. I just peeked into my collection box so I could introduce you properly. This little lady is Petunia Prunepot who is involved in a rather juicy scandal in the Beautiful Home Club Challenges.)

Oh no, this isn’t your regular Facebook game. Not only can you buy these real life figurines of the characters but there are clever and fun story lines that keep you hopping along, not to mention a variety of goals for making the old orchard they give you all spruced up and pretty. (Note: You do not have to buy any figurines to still have fun playing the game. They just add an extra element.)

And, so it begins. . .

The objective of the game is to make your property pretty with decorations, flowers, buildings, pathways, water and other items that you can buy with acorns as you do more in the game. Interacting with friends who are playing allows you to build “reputation” points and buy more land. Various land plots hold additional bonus items. You can also go to their Facebook page to learn more about the game.

Tail Towns Friends also delivers a total gaming experience with custom-designed collectible fully hand-painted beautifully crafted figurines, bridging the real world with the virtual one.

At any point, you can also buy some speciality things with real cash by buying Facebook credits, which I have to admit I got sucked into actually purchasing when I saw the cool Victorian mansion. I’ve lost it over Tail Town Friends!  A mere week ago, you would never have found me BUYING Facebook credits. This game is just that fun and I am seriously NOT being paid to say this. . . .really!

Since I am farther along, I am sharing a picture here of my friends’s page (where I blacked out the name so she wouldn’t be embarrassed at doing NOTHING – shame on her) which shows the basic orchard you get in the beginning. You can see various bars at the top indicating that you can invite friends, send free gifts, build your various levels to achieve new goals and new stuff. I won’t give away all the fun! You need to stop by and try it yourself!

Now, here’s me right now (pictured below). I’ve been planting, harvesting, juicing, visit downtown, talking with the natives (Iris, Madison, Cheeser and more), storing produce and veggies, selling it, buying decorations, selling decorations and tonight’s addition was the new house. Whew. . .

Tail Towns advanced

By the end of the week, I will definitely have more land and more friends and more, more, more   . . . . . {or, perhaps, it will be time to take a breather.}

Too fun. Good job, Tail Towns Friends. If you are playing, come find me!

UPDATE: I finished Petunia’s challenge and found a delightful flower-covered grotto waiting for me in my gifts and awards. Now my girls want their own figurine item!
