Interview with Jennifer Koppelman Hutt of "Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer"

_MG_0261FINAL Check out my latest celebrity Q & A with co-host Jennifer Koppelman Hutt of "Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer," a new Hallmark original series executive produced by David Steinberg. See below for a quick description I pulled from the press release about the show:

Alexis and Jennifer have built an enthusiastic following with their daily radio show on Sirius Channel 112/XM157 and the critically acclaimed “Whatever Martha!” TV series. Now, as hosts of “Whatever with Alexis & Jennifer,” airing daily on Hallmark Channel, the duo will have a national platform to explore what's in the daily headlines and how viewers are dealing with everyday issues.  Filmed in New York in front of a live studio audience, the show will feature a variety of in-studio guests, from headline makers to celebrities to people who just have something to say, and will become a daytime destination unlike anything else on TV.

Now for some answers from the working mom herself:

1. What traits do you have that you hope to see in your children someday?

Jennifer: I love music. And I love to sing…my kids can both carry a tune and that makes me happy!!!! I'm a "wear your heart on your sleeve" kind of girl…I hope both of my kids are emotionally available and treat others with compassion.

2. What do you hope NOT to see?

Jennifer: Sadly, I'm an anxious mess…

And easily sad!!!! And I was always too consumed with how my body looked. Would certainly like to spare my daughter that insanity!!!! My son doesn't seem to care. Lol.

3. Are there any of your radio shows you hope your kids don't hear for a looonnnngg time?

Jennifer: Lol. I try never to say anything anywhere that I'd be ashamed of having said or worried they'd hear. I realize even if they're not listening, someone else could be who may tell them!

4. What is the target audience of "Whatever"?

Jennifer: Women of alll ages!

5. What topics are you going to cover that might apply to moms? (or their teen daughters like I have?)

Jennifer: Real life issues…like how shaving our legs can make us feel better…instantly! (Sort of kidding) and things like it is ok to feel weird/strange/different/quirky because really we are ALL weird/strange/different and quirky ( and so it is ok!) Embrace being a goofball. And be proud to be smart.

Smart is sexy!

6. (And I heard this one on the radio today): if you could only pick one thing, what would you pick first: a scab, your nose, your ear, other?

Jennifer: Hmmmm… A pimple. Though with television daily now, I'm trying my best not to pick!!!

7. So, I see you have some fun guests for your first week of shows. How do you decide what to ask them?

Jennifer: Well, we want scoop…so we will ask whatever we think everyone wants to know…which is usually juicy stuff. We want our guests to reveal more with us than they may on other shows…we will try for that!

8.Who would be a couple of your top dream guests?

Jennifer: Seth Meyers, Kristen Wiig

And thanks for interviewing me…

Xo

(And, Jennifer – THANK YOU for taking the time to answer my questions!!)
